I enlarged it to see the bench . . . and it is a very comfortable looking bench with its curved back! It might be kinda cold in winter because of the metal tho.

I love those old trees! The limbs are so thick/big around! It has a unique bark that peels, it looks like. I don't know what kind it is tho. They must be pretty old to be so big on the limbs even!

In France,those trees are called "platane".I'm not sure that "plane tree" is the right translation.(That's the one of my dictionnary).You can find them everywhere in France, especially in the south, along the roads and on the places in the villages.People like to walk and sit under the shadow they offer.And yes, the bigger they are means that they are old.
