Square Guynemer

C'est un petit jardin, situé juste au-dessus du port, et dédié à l'aviateur Guynemer.
Il est bordé par une petite rue tranquille.
On y trouve une statue de l'ancien roi Charles-Félix.
Le matin, il est inondé de lumière par le soleil levant.
Par sa situation élévée, il offre une vue magnifique sur l'entrée du port, la jetée et le phare.
C'est pourquoi on y trouve beaucoup de bancs.



Guynemer was a pilot during the first world war, and was shot at the age of 23.







It is a small garden above the port. It is dedicated to Guynemer.
There is also a statue of the former king Charles-Felix.
Being in the west of the port, it is full of sun in the morning.
There is a quiet street just behind, and the garden offers a bright view on the lighthouse, the harbour entrance and the ships;
That's why there are a lot of benches there.

What a neat tour! I looked for the lighthouse but couldn't see it . . . In that last one, I enlarged to see the bench better -- another one of those double benches!! In that photo, there is a tall fence which is very unique and I like it. Beautiful!!
