Bancs à rayures / Benches with stripes

Ces petits bancs bizarres sont en ligne sous les pergolas, à droite de l'image. Ils permettent à une seule personne de s'assoir, ne sont pas confortables car faits de lattes en bois séparées les unes des autres, et ils sont trop hauts pour que la plupart des gens puissent mettre les pieds par terre. Et pourtant, ce sont bien des bancs!..
(Au fond, le joli petit musée d'histoire de Menton)



You can find them on the first picture, on the right, under the pergolas.
They are strange:
Too large for one, too short for two. Uncomfortable , because of those kinds of planks which with they are made. And when you sit on them, they are too high, and your feet don't touch the floor anymore.
Anyway, they are real benches!...

Looks like a bench . . . but an uncomfortable one IF one even got on them.

Since there is an art museum at the end of the street, maybe this is part of the exhibition?

Or maybe only for people wearing very high heels?
